“For me these hours came as a deliverance from the distress that had weighed upon me during the days of my youth. I am not ashamed to acknowledge to-day that I was carried away by the enthusiasm of the moment and that I sank down upon my knees and thanked Heaven out of the fullness of my heart for the favor of having been permitted to live in such a time.”

Sign Of The Cross

(In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, Amen)

The Prayer To Saint Michael

“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil
.May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.”

The Hail Mary

“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.”

The Our Hitler

“O God, protect our Hitler.
Lead him in the correct path and bless his work.
O let your light triumph on earth,
and break the proud power of the enemy!
Grant our people the order, composure,
and peace of the German day that follows the dismal night.”
(German Catholic Priest Ottokar Kernstock – 1925)

Today’s Reflection:

From 1914-1918, Saint Adolf Hitler served Germany during World War I in the Bavarian Army. He served as a dispatch runner on the Western Front, often behind enemy lines in France and Belgium.

He was wounded at the Battle of the Somme and awarded the Iron Cross, First Class for his bravery.

In Mein Kampf, he wrote:

“Towards morning I also began to feel pain. It increased with every quarter of an hour; and about seven o’clock my eyeswere scorching as I staggered back and delivered the last dispatch I was destined to carry in this war. A few hours later my eyes were like glowing coals and all was darkness around me.”

The Eternal Rest Prayer:

Eternal rest, grant unto Adolf O Lordand let perpetual light shine upon him.May he rest in peace. Amen.May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed,Through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen.
